On behalf of the former Kapurthala Royal Family, I Brigadier Sukhjit Singh, MVC (Retd) wish to place on record, our, and more especially my personal admiration and gratitude for the stellar services rendered by the distinguished body of legal luminaries of the "Kapurlawfirm", established in 1925, in Kapurthala and is today. one of the foremost, if not the foremost such establishment extant here, in the legal domain.

My personal association with these distinguished legal luminaries, now headed by the redoubtable Shri Mohit Kapur Sahib, goes back to the then reign of the exalted His late Highness Maharaja Jagatjit Singh Sahib of Kapurthala (1877 - 1949), when the legal expertise of this distinguished establishment became synonymous with the Royal Family in the 1950’s.

I have personally been closely associated, and have worked with perhaps their most distinguished legal luminary, Shri Desraj Kapur Ji since the 1950’s and have always greatly valued their wise legal counsel and efficient legal intervention, effectively delivered whenever required.

Today, in the Centenary Year of their establishment, I offer my personal felicitations and sincerest best wishes that, may they go from strength to strength in their dedicated guidance of our public, with regard to guiding and advising those in need, with respect to the complexities of legal jurisprudence. Deep gratitude to Kapur family

Our connection with the Kapur family spans over four generations dating back to my grandfather Lala Tirath Ram Dhir, Bar-At-Law practicing advocate in Jalandhar was a close friend to Lala Desraj Kapur. This relation has been strengthened over the years and I have the privilege of knowing the Kapur family intimately.

During Lalaji’s time I have had the privilege of meeting Shri Rajesh Kapur a leading advocate in Kapurthala who practiced with integrity and dedication. His son, Mohit Kapur followed the foot steps of his father and has established himself as a competent and honest lawyer practicing in Kapurthala and Jalandhar.

The Kapur family’s commitment to the legal profession in evident in the fourth generation with Aditi Kapur Arora who is a practicing lawyer in Jalandhar and Bhavna Kapur Sarin, an Advocate- on-record at the Supreme Court of India in Delhi making a mark in the field. I have had a good experience with Bhavna’s expertise particularly in our case, where she successfully obtained the relief for me.

I am highly grateful to the Kapur family’s contribution to legal community and I would express my appreciation for their dedication and expertise. Wishing your esteemed family continued prosperity and success. Having already made a remarkable impact across generations, here's to an even brighter future for many more years to come.
